Limite Obliquo [Oblique Limit] brings together photographic works by Vicente de Mello that investigate the boundary between the visible and the imperceptible. Presented at the Centro Cultural do Patrimônio Paço Imperial in Rio de Janeiro from February 25 to April 25, 2021, the exhibition gathers series including Galápagos, Sambaqui Elisa, Nippon and others, in which natural elements — branches, stones, organic matter — are photographed as silhouettes against white backgrounds, reducing form to its essential line.
